E14 E65 Win for the Third Time!

E14 E65 defeated E255 L157 at the Nassau Coliseum on April 9th by the score 4-3 to capture their third King of the Ice championship. Led by tournament MVP Chris LaRocca, 14 65 came from behind twice in the game, eventually outlasting a worthy Jolly Roger effort. E255 L157's goaltender, Dean Montesani was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Goalie and Brendan Ielpi was named the DC Raymond Downey Award winner. Congratulations to both teams- it was a great conclusion to another great tournament. Thanks to all the participants for making this the most successful King of the Ice yet.

Note: With 14/65's victory on Saturday marked a very special footnote to our Tournament. Lt. Brian Cantwell of E65 has just won his sixth championship. His first three titles were won with E90/L41 and his next three were with E14/E65.
